**Teacher of History**

**Full-time, ongoing position, commencing Term 1, 2025**

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking an exceptional Teacher of History, based in our South Yarra campus. Experience teaching VCE History (Revolutions, Australian History or Modern History) is preferred.

You will strive to/be required to:

- Inspire and foster a passion and appreciation of learning.
- Work as a pedagogical educator, committed to driving and sharing best practice with other teachers in the Department.
- Facilitate the exploration of student interests, fostering the pursuit of academic and personal growth.
- Support the individual wellbeing of our students.

**You will**:

- Have experience teaching History and a passion for the education of students from Years 7 to 12.
- Work in partnership to deliver exceptional educational experiences we offer our students.
- Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student’s intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth.
- Use your skills to actively contribute to co-curricular activities

VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential. Graduates are encouraged to apply.

This role is based at our South Yarra campus where our Senior School welcome around 850 boys in Years 9 - 12 each day and our Wadhurst campus, comprises 400 boys in Years 7 and 8 where they make the transition from primary to secondary education in an environment designed with their needs in mind.
