**About the role**
The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours a week at TAFE NSW’s Sutherland (Loftus) campus.
**About You**
To be successful in the role you will:
- Possess a Certificate III **and** Certificate IV in Plumbing
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in the plumbing industry gained no longer than five (5) years previously.
- Possess the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly Regarded:
- Plumbing License (Contractor License, Endorsed Contractor Certificate or Qualified Supervisor Certificate)
- Roof Pluming Qualification
