**About the role**:
Are you a Chef or Cook looking for a change of pace in 2025 ?

We are a fast growing artisan sourdough bread and pastry producer located in Airport West.

With the addition of our new retail arm Backhaus Foodstore launching early 2025, we are on the hunt for some more crew to join our team.

No experience necessary, just a positive outlook, a good work ethic and a calm temperament is a must.

We offer all training on the job with the mixing, moulding and baking of our sourdough and semi sourdough lines.

With the bulk of our team being ex restaurant backgrounds, we can vouch that it’s a great way to stay connected to good food sans docket printer.

We offer 9 day working fortnight with rotating weekends and an average day being around 7am - 4pm.

Hourly award rates paid, with salary also offered under negotiation based on experience and qualifications.

No cash or sponsorship available.

**Principal Responsibility**:
With the appropriate training you will be involved in managing ovens & mixing of doughs, shaping/moulding of sourdough products.

You will be expected to follow recipes, work in a clean & professional manner and be respectful of all other team members in the workplace.

Possess a level of fitness enabling you to lift and work on your feet in accordance with OH & S guidelines.

A full commitment to food safety procedures and have good attention to detail.

Pay: $32.89 - $45.89 per hour
