**Y**O**U** **wi**ll esta**blish an**d maintain the project controls and processes to support the Project Manager i**n the successful implementation of multiple high profile ICT implementation projects.**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning and Schedule Management**: Construct, maintain, and analyse project schedules and escalate any issues to the Project Manager.

**Financial Management and Control**: Work with the Project Manager and the IT PMO to monitor the project's costs and highlight discrepancies. Also complete all financial management and procurement related activities such as raising purchase orders and requisitions, paying invoices, maintaining the project cost model and completing month end requirements such as forecasting and accruals.

**Financial Management and Control**: Establish, implement and monitor compliance with the project's timekeeping processes

**Project Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Produce status reports, assist with the compilation of the Steering Committee packs, maintain action logs and registers and complete any ad hoc reporting requirements

**Change Request Management**: Administer the Change Request process, including ensuring that Change Requests meet the minimum requirements prior to approval submission

**Risk and Issue Management**: Monitor the project's risks and issues register and follow up overdue risk and issue actions
Facilitate new start processes, access and tracking of resource information and assist with compilation of Business Cases, SOWs and SOW variations for project resources.

Support the Project Manager with any other project related administrative activities such as attending meetings and taking minutes and maintaining project related registers.

**Skills**
- High level of demonstrated experience in working with Project Managers to successfully deliver projects in a large and complex IT environment
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and structure and be able to adapt this to fit within the current Aurizon IT PMO standards
- High level of interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and an ability to effectively develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Minimum of 5 years previous Project Controller experience ideally in Information Technology
- Experience in Microsoft Office including MS Project
- Excellent understanding of project scheduling and cost control techniques.
- Experience in SAP and Project Online is highly desirable.
