The Medical Assessment Tribunals consist of over 200 medical specialists appointed by Governor-in-Council. They play an important role in assessing work-related injuries within the Queensland Workers' Compensation Scheme.
As a Tribunal Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

- supporting tribunal hearings across a range of specialty types such as psychiatry, orthopaedic and neurology. managing the referral for injured workers from validation through to tribunal hearing and to final outcome. working closely with tribunal members to ensure high quality tribunal decisions in line with key performance indicators. liaising with workers and associated parties on a regular basis through all communication channels. maintaining and supporting Tribunal Services first class worker experience. prioritising a self-allocated caseload to ensure targets are met. ensuring electronic case notes and other records are recorded accurately and efficiently.
