As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You’ll have
- Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)
- Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable
- Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical or Avionics) trade experience
- Experience working on B738, A320 and/or A330 is desirable
- Have a proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
- Have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders
- Compliance with all Qantas safe working practices and service standards
- Have excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage demanding schedules
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and independently
- Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work shift work
- An Australian Drivers licence Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
