Our client is a global aerospace company with a reputation for quality, technical excellence and servicing customers worldwide. They are currently seeking for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their energetic team in Adelaide.
**About the role**
- Perform troubleshooting and regular system inspections for aero engine (PT6A/ TPE331) maintenance
- Maintain systems and equipment in accordance with OEM documentation and airworthiness requirements and ensure compliance with regional safety regulations
- Record job progress and maintenance worksheets to accurately
- Use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions
- Repair or replace broken parts with using power and hand tools
- Achieve team goals and deliver high quality service to the customer
- Analyzing technical procedures, schematic engineering to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
**Skills and Experience**
- Academic background in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering/ Mechanical or related disciplines
- 2 years' experience or above in aero engine and PT6A engine experience is a MUST.
- Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience is highly desire
- High level of accuracy and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Demonstrable knowledge of engine strip, detailed inspection, and assembly
- Solid experience for preventative and corrective maintenance actions within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
- Hands-on experience on both manual and automated tools and equipment
- Willing to learn with good interpersonal and communication skills
