**Role Description/Criteria**

St Paul’s Primary School Coburg is seeking a passionate, dynamic and committed Physical Education teacher to teach Year Prep-6.

The role is a contract position beginning in 2025.

The successful applicant will:

- Have a passion to teach Physical Education
- Have with a strong work ethic.
- Promote Physical Education in the school and to the wider community
- Teach the Physical Education program according to the Victorian Curriculum
- Organise athletics carnvial and Interschool sports.
- Assess student’s Physical Education skill development.
- Join a dynamic specialist teaching team.
- Plan, work and learn in a team environment.
- A willingness to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong communication skills
- Have excellent classroom management skills.
- Willingness to be involved in all aspects of the school community
- Passion for building strong partnerships and links between our families and school.

**All Applicants must have**:

- current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check.
- an understanding of the Child Safe Standards.
- a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
