**Role Summary**
SNC-Lavalin are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team, working as the BIM Manager across our Civil and Structural Remit in Sydney.
You’ll be working alongside the digital team both locally and abroad to ensure we are at the forefront of technological advances and design principles.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Implement and evolve the project BIM strategy, requirements, and BIM Management Plan
- Working alongside the Design, Advisory and Delivery team to intgrate and link relevant information, set up and deliver programmes as well as enforce BIM standards project wide
- Be involved with the outlining of information exchange protocols, focussing on interoperability, programme, QA, frequency, purpose of exchange.
- Ensures information management processes (ISO19650) and collaborative behaviours are fully embraced across the project.
- Integret the ethos of BIM delivery within the team, including focused appraisal of teams capability and requirements for training.
- Provide BIM support to the project team, managing the Common Data Environment (CDE), project model environment, model federation, data quality checking process, model coordination and deliverable generation.
- Work in conjunction with the document control and design team to ensure delivery of the information requirements is in line with BEP.
**What will you contribute to the team?**
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture or an equivalent
- Demonstrsable experience working as a BIM Manager/Lead, within a multi-disciplinary design practice in engineering, design or construction
- Must have knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks and other BIM authoring Platforms including features, functions, and limitations.
- Hands on experience of delivering multi-discipline projects and enforcing BIM and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.
- Constantly striving towards continuous improvement and innovation.
- Flexible and engaging with resilience, drive and self-motivation.
- Happy taking ownership of project rollouts
- Critically minded and able to adapt and think on your feet
- Ability to collaborate successfully within a project and team environment but also to work independently and in a client environment.
- Proficient in oral and written communications skills.
