**Equipment Preparation Technician 12 month contract (Afternoon shift - 3.00 pm - 10.50 pm)**

**Position summary**

To assist in the implementation of production plans for the timely and cost-effective production of Animal Health products.

**Responsibilities**

Meet Environment Health and Safety requirements by adhering to safe operations

Achieve Production targets by
- Ensuring equipment & portable tanks are prepared and available per scheduled plans
- Effective and efficient use of CIP/ SIP workstations
- Integrity testing of filters
- Using autoclaves to sterilise equipment
- Timely monitoring & testing of equipment
- Recording of activities & results in real-time on approved documents (e.g. in-process checks/ tests)
- Performing general departmental duties including but not limited to:

- QC samples to the lab
- Routine water sampling
- Maintain stock of raw materials and equipment
- Plant checks
- Meet Quality and GMP requirements

**Education and experience**
- Experience working in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry is desirable
- Knowledge of cGMP is desirable
- Clear, legible handwriting
- Ability to maintain attention to detail with mínimal errors
- Flexible and adaptable to change and collaborative team player
- Double vaccinated with Covid - 19
