**WHO WE NEED?**

Challenger is seeking experienced Kitchen Stewards to work at premier 5 star hotels in Melbourne on a part-time basis. In this fast-paced hands-on role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and be committed to working to a high level of safety, delivering exceptional hospitality services based on our award-winning standards and our client's needs.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO?**
- Be an integral part of the operations of busy commercial kitchens
- Operate commercial dishwashers and other commercial kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and benches ensuring all rubbish is removed and equipment is correctly stored
- Prepare equipment required for functions (BBQs, chafing dishes, plates etc)
- Assist the chefs with general kitchen duties
- Comply with all company polices, procedures, standards and safe work practices at all times

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED?**
- Be flexible and available to work across a rotating 7 day roster, including days, afternoons, evening and overnight shifts
- Have proven experience in fast paced commercial kitchen environments
- Have a good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job
- Have a good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling
