**Your new company**

You will be working for an established company focused on supplying total solutions to the Oil and Gas industry. They have three main divisions which all are providing excellent service for their clients. Process Division is supplying valves and process instrumentation; Engineering Solutions Division focuses on the high-end technical expertise in the supply of well-head equipment and subsea solutions; and their Fabrication Division offers qualified valve technicians who can provide both inspection and repair services for vales and associated equipment. This company has an office in the Melbourne CBD and is looking to hire a Quality Officer.

**Your new role**

In your new role as a Quality Officer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining quality standards. In an addition you will be conducting internal inspections and audits and analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Mainly you will be looking after the compliance with ISO 9001 accreditation and Environmental (ISO 14001) and Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) accreditation. In order to succeed in this role, you will be required to have excellent interpersonal, influential, oral and written communications skills.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role please see a few key requirements outlined below:

- A qualification in a related field such as quality management, or business administration is highly regarded. Experience in a related field, such as quality control or quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in oil and gas quality standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and quality management techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential.
- Valid Driver's License is a must.
