The Region Market Leader for ACT, Southern NSW & Papua New Guinea is a key leadership role with a focus on growing the market of GHD throughout the region and our strategic goals of exceptional client experience, trusted client relationships, and sustainable growth and profitability.
Key elements for the role include:
**Strategy**:
- Providing direction, coordination and mentoring of the sector specific Leaders.
- Ability to identify market trends and implement strategies that achieve the outcomes of the Regional Business Plan and Australian Market Strategies
- Assist in the development of the ACT, SNSW & PNG Region Business plan and lead strategies
**Business Development**:
- Build a strong business development and winning work culture, with effective positioning and pursuit of large and strategic opportunities.
- Promoting GHD’s services across all sectors and industries, with a key focus on Federal Government.
- Build GHD’s profile and relationships with key decision makers in the external market.
**Client Focus**:
- Growing and developing the market for GHD’s services throughout the Region to expand the services that we provide to our key clients and develop new clients.
- Be a leader in CX, influencing behaviours, overall client experience and the Key Clients Portfolio and Client Relationship Management Program.
**Leadership & Management**:
- Lead the BD and Marketing activities to support the vision and direction of growth for the Region.
- Undertake leadership roles on key bids as Project Director.
- Actively contribute to the broader leadership as a member of the Regional Management Group.
**Financial Management**:
- Defining and developing strategies to meet success metrics through improving overall bid win rate, increase in backlog and new work won
What you will bring to the team:
- Extensive track record and ability to identify opportunities and position GHD to win work
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining
- The ability to influence decision makers and key stakeholders in a complex organisation
- Knowledge, experience and ideally key contacts in the ACT, Southern NSW and Papua New Guinea regions
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
