- Ensure compliance to Standard Operation Procedures
- Ensures all samples received are properly placed within GS tracking systems (LIMS, Genomics) and that all samples are properly prepared for any and all subsequent processing.
- Adhere highest level of compliance with Data entry, LIMS tracking and sample management - assist in Sample management and archiving as necessary.
- Liaise with Customer Service to ensure correct testing is being performed and entry of details into LIMS within acceptable timeframes
- Tracking all incoming samples.
- Opening, sorting and delivering mail and packages.
- Sample preparation and labelling for downstream processing.
- Data Entry and organizing of samples.
- Multitask several projects, adjust to changing priorities.
- Assist in maintaining the laboratory by performing preventive maintenance and assuring a clean and safe environment.
- Meets individual and departmental goals and objectives.

**Essential Skills**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, basic excel skills and attention to detail is preferable.
