
Calibration Laboratory Assistant

Key Accountabilities
- Adjust and calibrate measurement equipment to meet Simtars and external clients' requirements
- Arrange for external calibrations and repairs where necessary
- Prepare concise technical/calibration reports as applicable and compile accurate test documentation and records for calibration work conducted
- Provide technical support in the field of calibration to all sections within RSHQ
- Assist in the management of Simtars calibration schedule to ensure all Simtars test instrumentation is maintained within calibration and agreed dates
- Establish and maintain effective, responsive relationships with customers, both internal and external, to provide services that meet Simtars quality objectives
- Actively participate in and contribute to the enhancement of Simtars' Integrated Management System and other regulatory requirements
- Analyse and solve measurement problems
- Work to deadlines and manage and prioritise workloads effectively
- Other duties as directed by the Calibration Laboratory Supervisor
