**About the Role**
You’ll be responsible for the development and management of a suite of graduate coursework programs within the Faculty of Business and Economics. You’ll work closely with the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) and Department Heads to ensure a quality experience in the classroom for over 5,000 postgraduate students. You will manage the governance processes that approve new and updated curriculum and be a leading participant in both university and faculty reviews of our courses. You’ll manage academic misconduct investigations and hearings and provide expert advice to academic staff on all matters related to student conduct.
Additionally, you’ll strive for continuous improvement by reviewing and implementing enhancements to processes and procedures, aiming to improve the services provided by the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing executive support for the Graduate Programs Committee, including conducting research and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Overseeing Faculty graduate misconduct investigations and hearings, providing executive support to committees, and offering guidance and liaison services to staff and students.
- Serving as the primary liaison between Academic Services, academic departments, and Student and Scholarly Services for all aspects of managing the Faculty's graduate coursework programs, particularly focusing on enrolment, special consideration, and academic progress.
**Who We Are Looking For**
You are a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and foster relationships with staff across the organisation. You’ll have experience managing the development of curriculum, be attuned to governance and compliance frameworks and be able to provide expert advice to senior staff on all areas of student and program management. You’ll have experience leading and motivating staff and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment displaying a proactive and can-do attitude when presented with challenges.
You will also have:
- A postgraduate qualification (or significant progress towards one) with extensive relevant experience; or substantial experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet competing deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to collaborate effectively and adaptably, both within a team and autonomously, thriving in environments with evolving demands.
