Marketing Specialist

MainStream Aquaculture’s existing product range includes Barramundi table fish from our farms in based in Wyndham (VIC) Innisfail and Port Douglas (QLD) and Arizona in the USA, Barramundi fingerlings sold both domestically and internationally, plus a range of value added and waste stream products.

We are looking for an ambitious marketing specialist to drive the execution of our marketing strategies for our products and corporate profile. The role will be based in Werribee (30 mins from Melbourne CBD), and involves a wide range of B2C and B2B activities with a strong focus on engaging the food service industry.

With previous experience in a similar role, you will be energetic, self-confident and a results driven individual with who loves communicating and promoting, and also sound at preparing and analysing S&M reports.

**Tasks Include**:

- planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives
- advising executives and clients on advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting the attributes of goods and services
- coordinating production of advertising campaigns involving specialised activities, such as artwork, copywriting, media scripting, television and film production and media placement, within time and budget constraints
- analysing data regarding consumer patterns and preferences
- interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends
- researching potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services and collecting and analysing data and other statistical information
- supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs
- commissioning and undertaking market research to identify market opportunities for new and existing goods and services
- advising on all elements of marketing such as product mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, selling, and distribution chain

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the execution of marketing and advertising campaigns including events, social media, POS and PR
- Developing promotional materials in conjunction with creative agencies
- Developing content for website, social and PR
- Liaises with commercial partners, industry and community groups
- Manages and updates websites
- Supports sales staff and production team
- Assists product development activities
- Creating and adhering to brand standards
- Measures customer satisfaction and retention
- Prepares sales and marketing reports

**Profile**:

- 2 - 4+ years marketing

- Highly motivated and results driven, analytical

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
