**About the Role...**
We have multiple opportunities for suitably qualified Horticulturalists to join our City Operations - Tree Services team.
In this role you will undertake all aspects of proactive and reactive Tree maintenance works in accordance with relevant legislation and to Australian Standards (including but not limited to):
- Tree removal; Tree pruning; Screen maintenance; Chipping branches and Tree establishment:
- Perform all aspects of Horticultural and arboriculture practices as trained and qualified to ensure all tree maintenance is undertaken according to relevant legislation and to Australian Standards;
- Undertake Tree planting, Tree root inspections and pruning, implementing tree and soil nutritional programs, pest and weed identification and treatments, formative and selective pruning, irrigation fault finding and repair.

It’s important to us that you are the right fit to join our team, but just as important, that Playford is the right place for you. You will need a range of relevant and current certificates, licences and experience to be suitable for this role. Some of these include holding formal qualifications in Horticulture (minimum requirement) and a current (unrestricted) MR Driver's licence.
In addition you will have:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working within Horticulture field, undertaking tree maintenance, or related work.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in all aspects of Horticulture practices as it relates to arboriculture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tree species and appropriate techniques for maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate tree condition and make recommendations on future care and maintenance to achieve sustainability.
- Demonstrated experience with implementing a tree maintenance program.
