**What this opportunity involves**:
JLL is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the property management team at Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive performance and excellence in a dynamic retail environment.
**An overview of the role**:
Oversee day-to-day property management of Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre
Lead financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
Manage leasing processes and develop retail mix strategy with external leasing consultants.
Ensure high standards of centre operations and maintenance
Oversee marketing initiatives and retailer relations
Build strong stakeholder relationships, including with the Client, JLL teams, and retailers
Prepare and analyse income/expenditure budgets, business plans, and financial reports
Manage centre cashflow and pursue rental arrears
Oversee collection and analysis of retailer sales figures and market trends
Maintain accurate tenancy records and ensure lease compliance
Assist in leasing negotiations and documentation as needed
Work with Operations Manager to maintain high standards and minimise liability risks
Collaborate with Marketing Manager on marketing plans and centre promotions
Analyse retailer performance and proactively manage underperforming tenants
Ensure compliance with OH&S, environmental, and risk management policies
**Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for**:
5+ years retail property management experience
Real Estate Licence / Agents Representative in Victoria is required
Degree in Property, Business, Management, or related field (preferred)
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., MRI)
Thorough knowledge of Retail Act and property-related functions
