The central activities district is Melbourne's second largest retail and commercial centre and includes large shopping complexes at Dandenong and Keysborough as well as the highly popular Dandenong Market.

**About the role**
The City of Greater Dandenong is undertaking a major transformation of its Parks Services Department and are excited to offer a newly created leadership role that will shape the future of open space maintenance in our city. As part of a broader restructure, this is a rare opportunity to join the team at a pivotal moment—bringing fresh energy, ideas and leadership to a team committed to delivering high-quality parks and open space maintenance for our community.
The Coordinator City Presentation will lead our newly formed horticulture and open mowing teams, driving service planning, quality improvements, and team development. You bring a passion for the presentation of quality public spaces, the ability to lead teams through change, and the skills to manage contractors, programs, and operational budgets.
You will be a strong communicator, collaborator, and mentor—comfortable navigating a complex stakeholder environment while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes, service standards, and team performance.
This is your chance to make a lasting impact on the presentation of Greater Dandenong’s public spaces.
**Key requirements**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Horticulture or Open Space Management, with substantial industry experience
- Proven leadership in supervising open space maintenance services and managing diverse teams
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, service planning, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to customer service and collaboration
