Join the Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) team at Flinders Medical Centre as a Medical Consultant, where you can contribute to the assessment and management of O&G inpatients and outpatients at Southern Metropolitan Adelaide's largest hospital. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides maternity and gynaecological care for women as inpatients, outpatients and through outreach programs for women with complicated and uncomplicated pregnancies.

As the O&G Consultant, you will provide specialised and expert medical advice, guidance, and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team across Women's and Children's Division, as well as the wider FMC service. You will be actively involved in teaching medical students, trainee medical officers, and Nursing and Allied Health staff where appropriate. This position participates in clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities and research and continuous medical education activities. As a Consultant and clinical leader, you act as a change agent to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and overall healthcare outcomes within the Division.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award,
- Proven clinical experience in providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynaecological care, including management of complex cases,
- Demonstrated interest in research and commitment to continuous professional development,
- Experience in a variety of healthcare settings working with a range of populations, including Indigenous, culturally, and linguistically diverse communities.
