**About the role**
As the National Motor Procurement Manager at Youi, you'll be instrumental in refining our nationwide procurement strategies for automotive services. Your guidance will steer the development and implementation of procurement plans, ensuring both cost-efficiency and top-notch service delivery for our clientele. Collaborating closely with vendors and internal teams, your partnership will identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and establish robust alliances to secure favourable terms.
Your expertise will be crucial in driving Youi's advancement in motor-related procurement, emphasising our dedication to exceptional customer service and effective solutions. Your responsibilities revolve around pinpointing operational gaps within Youi, proposing economical solutions to elevate client experiences.
Additionally, you'll supervise ongoing evaluations of service provider activities, actively creating and maintaining reports to reinforce procurement strategies and attain optimal outcomes.
**Key responsibilities**
- Evaluating and optimising supplier relationships to form a preferred network.
- Ensuring prompt, cost-efficient delivery of services meeting precise standards for Youi and its claimants.
- Managing, supporting, and evaluating our expanding service provider network aligned with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhering to Youi's policies, procedures, and relevant legislation for compliance.
- Identifying operational gaps in Youi's practices and implementing cost-effective solutions to enhance customer experiences.
- Continuously reviewing service provider activities, maintaining reports to support procurement recommendations.
- Developing strategies to improve Service Providers' performance.
- Managing the complete Motor claims fulfillment network.
- Assessing Service and Digital Platforms for suitability.
- Performing monthly reporting and analysis of performance.
**About you**
**You should possess**:
- In-depth knowledge and familiarity with the Smash repair industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance claims fulfillment, particularly in Motor claims.
- Demonstrated experience in Motor Claims Procurement preferred (5+ years is a general indicator).
- Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel & Word, and the capability to utilise data for decision-making.
- Proven success in change management.
- Ability to influence various stakeholders effectively.
- Track record of successfully implementing crucial strategic initiatives.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Skill in negotiating strategic outcomes with industry stakeholders.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements.
