An Australian owned and operated food manufacturing business based on the Sunshine Coast and operating for more than 40 years. This is an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a food manufacturing business based on the Sunshine Coast. You will be part of a collaborative team and responsible for demand planning and sourcing of all raw materials locally and offshore. This role is also responsible for inventory management both on-site and at 3rd party warehouses.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, organised and looking to stamp their mark and grow the role.

Your new role
- Develop demand plans in consultation with the commercial team
- Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing record, stock receipts and data entry
- Work and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure best sustainable pricing and provide continuous improvement strategies to streamline purchasing processes
- Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials
- Manage and resolve issues regarding purchase and invoice discrepancies
- Database management using relevant ERP systems
- Ensure inventory holdings are in line with seasonal availability and demand plans at all times.

What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of the supply chain process in the food industry
- Experience in ERP systems
- Extremely organised with superior communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management, organisation and influencing skills
- Strong excel skills.
