We’re excited to offer a newly created opportunity as a Technical Advice Manager to join TAL’s Retirement and Wealth team. This is a key role at the forefront of our growing retirement business, where you’ll help shape the success of a market-leading retirement proposition. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that intra-fund, aligned, and external advisers clearly understand our proposition and have access to the right resources to confidently recommend our solutions to retirees.

**In this role you will**:

- Work with our fund partners to support their advice networks in recommending their new market leading retirement income solution
- Provide technical training to sales staff, advisers, and their staff on products and retirement strategies the products enable for members
- Develop training content to support the awareness of retirement income options and how to construct these as a part of member retirement strategies
- Contribute to continued development of the proposition features and supporting experiences
- Drive the development of advice facing tools, collateral, and thought leadership on retirement propositions
- Build meaningful and trusted relationships with our fund partners and key internal stakeholders

**Qualifications**
- Strong experience working in retirement advice or an aligned advice function
- Strong knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing the operation of the financial services industry, including the delivery of advice
- Excellent understanding of the technical concepts and strategies relating to retirement solutions and the retirement advice landscape
- Innovative, creative and curious with a strong growth mindset
- Strong and engaging presentation skills
