**About the role**

The Portfolio Analytics Manager plays an important role in supporting the Senior Portfolio Analytics Manager to deliver customer, product and commercial insights and analytical capabilities to stakeholders across the health insurance, financial services and health services portfolios.

**About your team**

The Portfolio Analytics team plays a critical role in providing timely insights and advanced analytical capabilities to support Medibank’s 2030 vision and portfolio strategy. The team works from problem / opportunity identification to analytical execution and plays a key role in driving improved decision-making and commercial outcomes across the organisation.

**Your impact**
- Co-leading a team of analytics specialists, with a particular focus on day-to-day execution and quality control
- Understanding stakeholder needs across the Medibank and ahm portfolios, for the private health insurance, financial services and health services businesses
- Translating commercial questions into relevant analytical approaches, executing the analyses and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a commercially impactful manner
- Developing trusted working relationships with business stakeholders and other functional teams across the organisation
- Being a true analytical and commercial insights partner for Medibank and ahm stakeholders
- Supporting the Senior Portfolio Analytics Manager and other senior leads on analytical initiatives
- Collaborating with other analytics teams on the delivery of enterprise analytics initiatives and insights

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in analytics, mathematics, statistics, finance or other related discipline
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an analytics role and experience in a management capacity
- Analytics experience in private health insurance, health care or other insurance sectors is preferred
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence business decisions using analytics insights
- Demonstrated experience and ability to undertake data and statistical analysis using relevant tools (SAS, Python or R)
- Experience in building statistical and commercial models
- Experience in SQL and data transformation
