**Sourcing Manager, 12 month Temporary. Locations: Either Sydney CBD, Gosford or Parramatta**

The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for an enthusiastic and team-orientated individual within the Corporate Services Procurement Team for a 12-month maternity contract. The successful applicant will support Corporate Procurement to provide high quality end-to-end sourcing and contract management to deliver value for money and effectively meet business outcomes. The role is to provide a range of specialised procurement advice and services to agencies within the Department.

The right applicant will be a team player able to hit the ground running, who can work autonomously and as part of a team. **Procurement experience** is desired.

Our team sits within the Corporate Services Division of DCS, reporting to the DCS Chief Operating Officer. Corporate Procurement has four functions within the team: Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), Business Partnering, Sourcing, and Centre of Excellence. This role sits within the Sourcing team and is accountable to the Procurement Strategy Manager.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Develop, co-ordinate and lead sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs
- Plan and lead contract negotiations in the establishment and review of supply arrangements to deliver value for money procurement outcomes
- Manage and co-ordinate all aspects of contract management services including developing and administering contract management plans, negotiating changes and modifications, monitoring, and analysing performance, addressing non-performance, and ensuring compliance requirements to achieve the required contract outcomes
- Provide high level advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders including a cross functional team of specialist across multiple business and portfolio to build expertise in procurement, provide governance and improve procurement practice and outcomes
- Document procurement processes, decisions, and contractual arrangements to facilitate audit trail for probity and collaborate with relevant state agencies for audit purposes
