We are seeking a **Junior Designer** to help bring our seasonal ranges to life, combining your eye for detail with our brand’s creative vision and commercial goals.

This role will collaborate with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to design high-quality, trend-driven products that embody FINE-DAY’s signature style. From conceptualisation to product launch, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our collections are market-relevant, on-brand, and commercially successful.

**THE ROLE**:

- Research and identify key trends, items, colors, and styling for seasonal ranges.
- Create technical designs using Adobe Illustrator or 3D modeling software.
- Develop comprehensive supplier handover documentation/tech packs.
- Liaise with factories, suppliers, and agents to develop and produce high-quality products.
- Attend fit sessions and sample reviews, ensuring styles meet FINE-DAY’s standards.
- Maintain and update working range sheets and style files.
- Support product pricing to achieve sales, margin, and markdown targets.
- Analyse weekly sales reports and assist with end-of-season reviews.
- Ensure samples are prepared and handed over to the Marketing Team for maximum brand exposure.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Team to present seasonal ranges.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.

**THE IDEAL ANDIDATE**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fashion design or product development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience working with offshore suppliers.
- Familiarity with critical path management and seasonal planning.
- A strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
- A passion for high-quality standards and maintaining brand alignment.
- Creative flair, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
