**About the Role**

You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare‘s Values. You will play a crucial role in resident’s overall wellbeing.

**Your primary functions will be**:

- The Personal Care Worker will assist residents to take part in social activities through Arcares internal lifestyle & wellbeing programs.
- Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities.
- Assist residents with emotional support and foster and encourage the participation of hobbies interests and group activities.
- Personal Care: Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
- Assist residents with therapeutic activities and support.
- Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Meal Assist: Supporting residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.

**Skills & Experience**
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
