Ventia are seeking to engage a Graduate SHEQ Advisor with a positive approach to the safety and health, environment, and quality functions.

This full-time, permanent, entry level role will see you join our Infrastructure Services' Water SHEQ team, with the role based in Melbourne Metro.

**About the role**:

- Assist the SHEQ team with the management of project safety, incident and safety reporting, record keeping and administration
- Participate in inspections, site walks and plant inductions
- Actively contribute to SHEQ improvement strategies
- Participate in consultation activities, including toolbox talks, OHS Committee meetings
- Provide support in conducting field Safety and Environmental Risk assessment and Hazard identification

**About you**:

- Higher Education Qualification in Workplace/Occupation Health and Safety
- C class Driver's license
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Intermediate computer skills
- The ability to work as a member of a team
- Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
- The ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol tests
- Unrestricted Australian work rights
