Canberra, Australia HAYS Full time

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cost & Schedule Analyst to join our Programs department

**Your new company**

**Your new role**
***
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cost & Schedule Analyst to join our Programs department on a full-time, permanent basis in Canberra. As the Cost & Schedule Analyst, you will provide robust cost and schedule analysis support to the Programs department, ensuring successful integration of Programs inputs into the business operations. This will enable the successful delivery of existing commitments and future opportunities.

**What you'll need to succeed**
***
Key role responsibilities include providing scheduling and administration support services to enable the Cost & Schedule Analysts to develop and update Contract Master Schedules (CMSs). You will liaise with relevant stakeholders to acquire and compile complete and sufficiently detailed information required to produce the CMSs, undertake regular reviews of information and sources, and contribute to Programs’ monthly performance reporting to the Board. You will also communicate regularly across the organisation, contribute to project reporting to the Customer, and identify, mitigate and resolve project schedule risks and issues management. In addition, you will provide scheduling support to the business development activity and enhance PMO processes and business systems.

Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with analysing and interpreting data, is also essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and plan and prioritise competing workloads to meet deadlines. Strong computer skills across the MS Office suite, particularly Excel, are required, and experience with Open Plan Professional (or Primavera P6, MS Project Server), scheduling of Defence Acquisition (or other complex) projects, and experience in a Project Manufacturing environment would be highly regarded.

To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen eligible for Defence Security Clearance. Medical, psychometric and/or skills testing may also be a requirement.
