**About the Role**:
A permanent oppportunity for an experienced Forklift / Container Handler Operator to join our team at the Container Park in Altona North.

**The role and responsibilities will include**:
Follow all safety policies and precedures to ensure safe operation of the forklift and containers are stacked correctly, safely and in correct location

Keep forklift in a clean and tidy condition

Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner

Complete Pre-operational forklift check procedures at the start of each shift. Includes all checks of tyres, fluids and operating elements.

Responsible for ensuring implementation of, and compliance with, all relevant depot policies and procedures, in particular those relating to OH&S

**To be successful for this role, you will need**:
Current Forklift Licence

Experience in container park operations preferred

Any exposure or experience in handling / moving shipping containers would be highly desirable

Strong safety conscious

A team player with good communication skills

A positive can-do attitude
