**About your new role**

We are seeking a Safer Gaming Manager to join our team based in Sydney or Brisbane. You will promote a culture of Safer Gaming awareness at The Star and will focus on harm minimisation and the ongoing management of Safer Gaming Compliance. With a strong desire to ensure the safety of our team members, guests, and visitors, you will oversee the execution of the design and operating effectiveness of key processes and controls.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A proven, track record of harm minimisation, behaviour change and using emotional intelligence to keep people safe.
- A background in policy development, implementation, and data analysis as well as problem solving within a business environment.
- A tertiary degree in a field related to welfare or humanities is desirable.
- Previous experience in keeping people safe whilst understanding customer needs and meeting their requirements is essential.
- The ability to build strong relationships with business functions and communicate with staff to promote positive employee relations whilst understanding the impact of decisions and changes.
