Comdain is looking for a Pipelayer based in the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions
About the Role

About the Role

Due to exciting and continued growth and ongoing secured work from our long standing panel, Comdain is ramping up to deliver exciting new water and wastewater projects throughout the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay region

Opportunity for a reliable and ambitious Pipe Layer with a strong work ethic and “team first focus” to join our team assisting the Foreman to carry out all duties associated with the construction of water and gas infrastructure.
- Comply with the personal and public safety practices, wear protective clothing and equipment as required by Comdain;
- Report any injury immediately and take appropriate action to minimise its effects;
- Maintain a safe working environment which permits employees to perform their duties without harming themselves, their fellow employees, the community at large and the ecology;
- Excavate and backfill trenches and manholes manually using hand tools, crowbar and rammer etc;
- Assist with bedding and laying pipes
- Maintain clean work area including tools and equipment;
- Assist in wrapping pipes and fittings
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with Risk Management, Quality assurance and HSEQ Management systems, including statutory obligations;
- Assist in any other work related tasks as directed by the Foreman

About You

In addition to the above, we require someone with the below:

- Hold a Construction White Card
- Hold a current Drivers Licence and have Reliable Transport
- Prior experience in civil labouring and pipe laying
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Sound understanding of all Occupational Health and Safety procedures
