**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Group Manager of Safety and Quality, the HSE Advisor will be responsible for providing support and ensuring work is completed at high standard in regard to Health and safety, as well as;
- Provide WHS advice and support to the site team to ensure compliance with relevant state WHS legislation and site
- Conduct internal WHS inspections and participate in internal and external audits
- Conduct high quality investigations and prepare lessons learnt
- Analyse WHS challenges and recommend solutions to relevant managers and supervisors
- Work closely with the injury management specialist to manage workplace injuries
- Complete and facilitate risk assessments on site, assist in development and review of Work Instructions
- Maintain required statutory registers
- Provide reports as requested
- Support the Group Manager - Safety and Quality with operational Safety implementations within CMG
- Conduct verification activities of key projects
- Organise required training for key personnel

**About You**
- Cert IV in Health and Safety (preferably Diploma) in WHS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a WHS role or equivalent and able to demonstrate transferable competencies
- Well-developed computer skills and technological aptitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with operational supervisors and personnel to drive desirable risk management behaviours and attitudes
- Desirable: Cert IV in Training and Assessment, ICAM Incident Investigation, Senior First Aid Certificate
