**Job overview**

This role will see you excel as the overall sales leader, relationship manager and strategic business partner for all ANZ RDS Business Development.Your focus will compromise of two critical areas. Building annual sales including new business wins for ANZ, plus develop and execute Early Oncology sales plan for the APAC region. This will see you engage with internal and external senior executives in the industry to build strong relationships and engagement strategies. You will have full line management and sales target responsibility for a team of 4 Business Development employees. Although the role is based in Australia you will report to our Regional VP based in Japan.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Scientific discipline required
- Previous sales experience will be highly regarded
- 12 years relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical), including 3 years of management responsibility
- Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts
- Excellent Business/Industry awareness and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development
- Ability to identify and develop sales leads to expand the business and drive growth
- Ability to influence others both internally and externally
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent skills in presentation, using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
