**About the Role**
We are seeking reliable and dedicated **Support Workers** to provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Supported Independent Living (SIL), and community settings.
In this role, you will support individuals with daily living, personal care, community access, and individual goals aligned with their NDIS plans. You’ll work collaboratively to maintain a safe, respectful, and enabling environment tailored to each client’s needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with personal care, domestic tasks, medication, and mealtime support.
- Promote independence and life skills within supported accommodation.
- Support community engagement and social participation.
- Follow individual support plans and document progress and incidents accurately.
- Uphold client dignity, choice, and rights at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and allied health professionals.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **COVID-19 Vaccination**: Fully vaccinated (3 doses required).
- **Influenza Vaccination**: Preferred but not essential.
- **NDIS Worker Screening Clearance**: Mandatory.
- **First Aid & CPR**: Current and valid certification.
- **Driver’s Licence & Vehicle**: Valid licence and reliable vehicle required; must be willing to travel.
- **Minimum Qualification**: Certificate III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or similar, with relevant industry experience.
- **NDIS Training**: Completion of 4 NDIS Commission & Safeguarding online modules.
- **Availability**: Flexible to work AM, PM, sleepover, and weekend shifts.
- **Communication**: Strong written and verbal skills; confident with documentation.
- **Practice Model**: Committed to person-centred care and support.
**Desirable Skills & Attributes**
- Empathetic and patient with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
- Understanding of the NDIS and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, or behaviours of concern.

Pay: $41.76 - $42.00 per hour
