**Position overview**:
ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the School of Medicine and Psychology, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the National Centre of Epidemiology and Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.

The Assessment and Evaluation Officer reports to Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator. The role of Assessment and Evaluation Officer will support the Assessment activities and evaluation processes within SMP. The role includes educational support such as workplace-based assessment, collecting, analyzing and reporting on assessment data for the purposes of program evaluation and for developing strategies and recommendations for improvement. Responsibilities also include day-to-day operations of the assessment and evaluations with all SMP programs.

The assessment and evaluation team provides administrative support for assessment to the School. They work alongside academic staff to support the delivery of assessment across clinical sites. The student assessment and evaluation team works closely with the staff across the Education Support Unit to ensure the highest standards of assessment and student outcomes are consistently achieved.
