Quality Health Care (QHC) is a specialist in-home, disability, and community care provider. We provide support and services throughout Sydney. Our services are individually tailored to meet the needs of each participant and are provided in a way that is caring, friendly, and supportive. Our team is 250 strong across a range of roles.
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to provide evidence based Positive Behaviour Support to participants in the NDIS and their key stakeholders. Reporting to the Manager, Behaviour Support you will work with a range of clients, with the goal that they will live life well.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Support the reduction of behaviours of concern for people with disabilities whilst improving their quality of life.
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing complex behaviour support plans that are responsive to the person’s needs.
- Engaging in positive relationships with participants and key stakeholders whilst embodying QHC values and culture.
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and skills regarding the governance, policies and procedures, approaches, and evidence base, for services provided by QHC.
**What We Are Looking for in You**
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team, and a strong understanding of working within the NDIS environment.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of the Behaviour Support Team.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development.
- A commitment to understanding the relevant legislation, Disability Service Standards, Service Description Schedules, Organisational Policy, Procedures and Protocols covering our disability accommodation teams.
- Ability to liaise and build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels across the company.
- Proficient organisational skills and the ability to be agile and multi-task, often at short notice.
**Essential Criteria**
- We are looking for all sorts of people with all sorts of backgrounds to work with the large range of people we support.
- An undergraduate degree is desirable.
- We encourage people who are psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, teachers, or social workers to apply.

- First Aid Certificate
- Part time and full time and flexible working arrangements available
