We are currently seeking qualified and experienced casual Disability Support Workers to join our team.

**About the Role**

As a Disability Support Worker at Infinity Care, you will provide personal care, domestic assistance, behavioural support, and community access to clients with varying levels of ability. You will work in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community settings to enhance clients’ quality of life, independence, and social participation.

**Key Responsibilities**

Positively supporting our client's routines/care plans in a flexible manner.

This includes:

- Community Participation - encourage and facilitate social activities
- Assistance with personal care
- Assist with domestic duties
- Assistance with the preparation of meals
- Assist with medication
- Provide emotional and empathetic support
- Provide quality support to meet the needs of the client in line with their goals
- Provide a person-centred approach that empowers the client's choice and independence
- Manage risks and emergencies as per the standard policies and procedures
- Maintain client records and report writing
- Provide feedback to the Service Coordinators and other stakeholders
- Skills & Experience Required

**✔ Mandatory Requirements**:

- Certificate II or Certificate III in Disability, Aged care or a related field
- At least one year of relevant experience in disability support, aged care, or mental health support.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Australian driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overnight shifts.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**✔ Preferred (but not mandatory)**:

- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions.
- Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or crisis intervention strategies.
