Electrical Maintenance Coordinator

**The Opportunity**

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a**n Electrical Maintenance Coordinator** in our** Springhill Coupled Pickled Cold Mill (CPCM) team**based in **Port Kembla**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

The Coupled Pickled Cold Mill is a highly automated processing line that uses a blend of old and new technology. The CPCM is toward the end of the steel-making process with the primary purpose of strip thickness reduction in preparation for the downstream steel coating processes.

In this business-critical role, you will coordinate and execute routine maintenance work and attend to plant electrical challenges, while also coordinating trade personnel and contractors to deliver a cost-effective, quality-focused and flexible maintenance function to the Springhill CPCM Mill/Exit Maintenance department.

**What Will You Do?**

As the electrical maintenance coordinator, you will:

- supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance
- coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section
- coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions
- participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects
- respond to the day-to-day electrical availability and reliability issues

**More About You**

As an experienced electrical maintenance coordinator, you will have sound leadership experience, work effectively in cross-functional groups, and thrive in a team environment. You will also have:

- electrical trade qualifications, or an advanced diploma in electrical engineering
- experience working with AC and DC motor drives
- experience with PLC Systems and drives
- demonstrated leadership experience
- experience in a heavy industrial environment
