Our Port Kembla production facility is the prime supplier of high volumes of gaseous products to the Steelworks (Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon and Hydrogen), as well as providing most of the liquid products needed for Coregas' merchant liquid customers across Australia.

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to take ownership and deliver safe, cost effective, and quality maintenance planning of all equipment and infrastructure on our Port Kembla production site.

**What you will be doing**
- Ensuring all planned maintenance activities are completed safely & in full compliance with the site's Safe Work Procedures
- Ensuring maintenance is planned and executed to achieve the facilities availability targets. Scope includes both Coregas and BSL owned infrastructure supplying the facility.
- Ensuring maintenance activities for both inhouse staff and contactors are planned and executed in accordance with the requirements of Coregas' Supply Agreement with BSL, as well as Coregas business requirements.
- Planning maintenance resourcing requirements for planned and unplanned maintenance activities - both internal and 3 rd party.
- Responsibility of the maintenance purchasing activities for both spare parts and labour.
- Ensuring the site's CMMS system and preventive maintenance system is maintained and continuously improved.
- Management of all site maintenance stores and critical spare parts.
- Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are planned and executed correctly and on time.
- Coordinate ongoing review and improvement of maintenance activities - in terms of safety, quality and cost. This shall include delivery against agreed annual improvement objectives.
- Co-ordinate, support, and contribute to all continuous improvement activities including 5s activities, root cause analyses into unplanned stoppages, and equipment failures.
- Oversight of Mackay ASU maintenance activities, to ensure safe work practices and reliable plant operations.

**What we need from you**
- TAFE trades certification, mechanical or electrical (or equivalent) and/or Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
- Sound understanding of Safe Work Practices for all maintenance activities.
- Experience planning and scheduling maintenance activities to achieve safe and reliable plant operation.
- Experience spanning multiple areas of plant maintenance activities including electrical, instrumentation, mechanical fitting and metal fabrication.
- Experience managing maintenance trades personnel.
