We're a leading manufacturer of precision gearboxes, industrial winches, and advanced fluid power solutions. We're looking for a motivated Mechanical Trade Assistant to support our skilled team and contribute to our reputation for engineering excellence.

Job Details:

- Rate: $35.15/hour
- Hours: 38 hours/week (Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Full-time, ongoing position

About the Role:
Work alongside experienced mechanical tradespeople in a modern workshop environment, developing your mechanical skills and contributing to high-quality industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Support: Assist with assembly, maintenance, and repair of gearboxes, winches, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Workshop Preparation: Organize tools, materials, and components
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and basic measurements
- Testing Support: Assist with equipment testing and commissioning
- Workshop Management: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory control

Essential Requirements:

- Basic understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Current forklift license and driver's license
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
