**The Role**

Reporting into the State Sales Manager - VIC your responsibilities shall include:

- Preparing quotations & proposals
- Assisting external sales staff in ensuring area budgets are achieved, including total sales & gross margin
- Reviewing and maintaining Back order report for outstanding sales orders and communicating with the customers
- Dealing directly with End user customers, resellers and OEM’s
- Maintaining Proper customer records and information in Pronto (ERP)
- 2+ years of Sales experience in Mechanical Power Transmission &/or Fluid Power equipment advantageous.
- Sound understanding of working within sales and a customer base
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Willingly learning new concepts and techniques and maintains a desire to gain an increasing level of knowledge of customers, products and the industry
- Working naturally with numbers (Data rational)
- This position may suit a Mechanical Engineering trades person looking to advance a career in Sales.
