About the role
The Sustainable Streets Officer is responsible for the strategic development and day-to day management and coordination of Council's community Verge garden and Adopt-a-Spot program. The Living Streets program encourages and facilitates residents to do planting and ongoing maintenance on Council owned verges, in parks and other lands with approval.

Remuneration
$86, $104, % Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
Tertiary qualifications and/or significant on-ground experience in horticulture, bush regeneration, landscape or other relevant field.
Knowledge and experience working with native plants of the Sydney region
Proven ability to design and implement community environmental projects
Knowledge of operational issues associated with integrating urban ecology and greening with streetscape management.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and conflict resolution skills
