**About the Role**

Join our team as a **Environmental Services Assistant **on a part time ongoing basis, Friday to Tuesday 06.30 - 14.00 (7 hour shift) to work at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Environmental Cleaning
- Cleaning of floors surfaces
- Waste segregation and removal/transport to main loading dock
- Linen removal and transport to the main linen loading dock for removal
- Cleaning of amenities
- Cleaning Pathology

**About Us**

Our Support Services team provides a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run. We provide food services, central production kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.***

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Holds a strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
- Takes pride in your work with great attention to detail
- Has great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks

**_Mandatory requirements of the role - qualifications, licences, memberships,_**
- Certificate III Cleaning Services _(Desirable)_
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer service and cleaning in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
- Excellent understanding of infection control procedures
- Basic to intermediate computer/digital skills
