**Your new company**
An Australian company with a national footprint across Australia with their WA office and warehouse based in Welshpool. They offer an international freight service for both import and export via sea and air. They have a strong emphasis on quality and service which is underpinned by their company core values.

**Your new role**
As an Import Air Freight Officer you will join a fast paced team you will liaise with internal teams, customers, overseas agents and suppliers. Your duties as an Import Air Freight Officer will include but will not be limited to:

- Register import consolidations and shipments
- Lodge air cargo reporting and under bonds
- Outturn under bonded cargo and arrivals to local clients
- Raise invoices and accruals
- Arrange local transport
- Coordinate import custom clearances
- Manage and complete all associated import requests and paperwork

**What you'll need to succeed**
As the Import Air Freight Officer you will have previous experience working with imports and will have the confidence to join this busy work environment and make a positive contribution with your import knowledge. You will have the following experience and skills:

- Air import experience
- CargoWise experience
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage your own workload
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
