**What You’ll Love**

We are looking for a **Night Supervisor** to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Transfer Stations and Transport, this critical role involves **overseeing the night-time operations at the transfer station**, ensuring smooth and safe operations during the night shift. You will be responsible for supervising contractors, managing customer and truck driver queries, and responding to emergency situations in a safe and compliant manner.

In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to lead the night shift, backed by a supportive leadership team with years of waste management experience to help you succeed. Your contribution will play a vital part in driving efficient and compliant operations that meet REMONDIS’s high standards.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Night Operations Management**: Oversee the entire night shift operation to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- **Contractor Management**: Supervise onsite contractors to maintain equipment and operational performance.
- **Customer and Contractor Support**: Address overnight queries or concerns from customers and contractors promptly.
- **Emergency Response**: Take charge in responding to emergencies, notifying emergency services, and coordinating internal staff.
- **On-Site Supervision**: Provide supervision during early starting shifts and manage personnel to meet corporate policies and objectives.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Lead by example in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained.
- **Team Leadership**: Organise and lead teams to ensure outstanding performance in safety, productivity, and business results.
- **Site Monitoring**: Continuously monitor safety and environmental standards, ensuring all procedures are followed and met.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- **Industry Knowledge**: While prior waste industry experience is highly regarded, we are more focused on your ability to manage site operations effectively and your drive to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- **Supervisory Experience**: Proven experience in a supervisory role within logistics (allocation experience highly desirable) plant operations, or a similar field.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams, contractors, and clients.
- **Ticketing**: A Dozer and Loader ticket is desirable but not essential.
- **Shift Availability: Ability to work night shifts from 6 pm to 3 am, Sunday to Thursday.**:
