We are currently looking for an experienced **Production/Packing Team Leader** to join our production/packing team in Mordialloc (off Boundary Road). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that has gone from strength-to-strength over the past few years.

We are recruiting for Morning Shift:

- Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm

**The role**:
Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, you will supervise, monitor and manage the team in the packing area. You will mentor, motivate and train team members on the production floor to achieve production targets, ensuring that QA procedures and checks are carried out in line with company procedures.

You will have experience working on a range on high speed food manufacturing equipment including flow wrappers, cartoners and conveyors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of the shift
- Promote a Safety First culture within the team
- Mentor, motivate and train team members (including agency staff)
- Foster open communication between shifts and production areas
- Run the shift in lieu of the Shift Supervisor
- Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a team leader in a food manufacturing environment (minimum of 1-2 years)
- Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $59,280.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
