**About the role**:
The Manager, Regional and Statewide Plans will hold accountability for delivering Statewide and Regional Mental Health and Wellbeing Service and Capital Plans and will lead a small team responsible for development and implementation of Statewide and regional planning approaches for the mental health and wellbeing system.

The role involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including the Division, sector partners, Interim Regional Bodies (and later Regional Boards) and other Department of Health Divisions to ensure consistent approaches to planning to guide the reformed mental health and wellbeing system.

The successful applicant will have a firm understanding of system and service planning approaches; demonstrated sound leadership and people management skills; and an ability to develop a team and influence others to drive consistent and evidence-based approaches to service and capital planning.

**How you'll make a difference**:
**Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate**:

- A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy, project management and/or public health is desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of system and service planning approaches.
- A sound understanding of the Victorian mental health and wellbeing system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is desirable.
