**Community Reception and Support Officer**
Are you someone who can move easily between community spaces - from supporting vulnerable clients in a relaxed hub to greeting stakeholders and supporting staff/students in a more professional head office.**If you enjoy variety, are a strong problem-solver and can learn new systems and processes quickly this could be for you.**
We are seeking a friendly and empathetic Customer Service /Front Desk Officer who’s flexible, tech savvy and people focused.
- Please note this is a _**_Permanent FT position_**_. You will be based in either of our locations rotating between Chirnside Park, Lilydale (HQ) or Yarra Junction. _
- This is a diverse and dynamic fulltime permanent position supporting three very different sites within our growing organisation. _
**Your main duties include**:
- Assist with intake, bookings and referrals using different systems and programs at each site.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold inclusive trauma informed practice.
Some days may be quiet and solitary, with tasks like cleaning, basic admin and organising supplies. On other days you may be handling multiple sensitive at-risk clients’ enquiries and support time critical referrals or be planning and coordinating one of our community markets or events. Your ability to stay grounded, empathetic and organised will be key.
**We’re looking for someone who**:
- Has some experience within a front desk/reception role where you are supporting vulnerable people.
- Can work independently and stay self-motivated in changing environments.
- Communicates clearly, respectfully, and sensitively with a wide range of people.
- Is confident learning and using multiple software systems and tools.
- Is calm under pressure and comfortable supporting people in distress
- Understands the importance of confidentiality, equity and inclusion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
